• Account information such as email address when you create a parent account.
• Child profile details you provide — such as a first name, age range, interests, and story preferences — used only to personalize stories.
• Usage data such as stories generated, features used, and app performance logs.
• Device and analytics data to improve reliability and safety.

How we use information

• Generate personalized bedtime stories tailored to each child profile.
• Operate narration, offline library, and subscription features.
• Keep content age-appropriate and improve product safety.
• Provide customer support and communicate about your account.

We do not sell personal information. We do not show third-party advertising in the MoonQ app.

Children's privacy

MoonQ is designed for use by parents and guardians. Child profiles are created and managed by an adult account holder. We collect only the minimum information needed to personalize stories and do not knowingly collect contact information directly from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent.

Data retention & security

We retain account and profile data while your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Account settings in the MoonQ app, or follow the steps on our Delete account & data page. You may also request deletion by contacting hello@moonq.ai. We use industry-standard safeguards to protect data in transit and at rest.
